ChatGPT's connector UI moves around between releases. The steps below match the dashboard's MCP page, which is updated when the product changes; if they disagree, follow the dashboard.

Steps

Copy the Server URL and Connector name from the dashboard under Settings, then API, then MCP.
In the ChatGPT desktop app, open Plugins, then the MCPs tab, click Add, and choose MCP server.
Enter the name, switch the Type to Streamable HTTP, and paste the server URL. Leave the token and header fields empty, then click Save.
Sign in to General Input when prompted and choose Allow.
When ChatGPT asks to confirm an action, approve it and choose to remember the choice. It applies for the rest of the conversation.

Notes

ChatGPT does not render the connector's widgets; connect links and resource links arrive as text.
The connector acts as the account you signed in with, in the workspace named by the URL.
