Codex CLI

Replace the URL with the one from the dashboard's MCP page.

codex mcp add general-input --url https://cloud.generalinput.com/v1/mcp/<organizationId>
codex mcp login general-input

The login command opens the General Input sign-in page. Approve the consent screen and Codex stores the token.

Notes

As with Claude Code, the geni CLI is the lighter option for local work. The connector is for the platform's sandbox and full toolset.
Codex CLI reads skills from ~/.agents/skills/, so geni skills install and this connector work side by side.

Claude Code

Add the workspace as an HTTP MCP server with one command, then authenticate from inside Claude Code.

Other clients

Any client that speaks Streamable HTTP MCP with OAuth can connect. What it needs to support and how to configure it.
